Prolight Protect 126/L/F stair nosing profiles are designed to protect, define and/or finish the edges of existing tiled, marble, stone, wooden, carpeted stairs using a strip LED lighting system.
They come in anodized aluminium with a non-slip PVC cover which can be replaced in the event of wear.
They are recommended for floors which can be slippery and in public spaces which must comply with safety legislation. Special end caps are also available to seal each side, to be screwed on.
Light is distributed along the length of the profile through a downlighter fixed to the front of the profiles.
If you also add a dimmer (optional) the intensity of the profile lighting can be adjusted as a decorative feature or to provide a night light.
